This acceptable use policy applies to every service supplied under the VPSWala brand by Advika Web Developments Hosting Private Limited. It exists so the platform stays usable for everyone on it. Breach may result in suspension without prior notice where the risk to the platform or to third parties is immediate.
Prohibited outright
- Any activity that is unlawful under Indian law, or under the law of a jurisdiction your service reaches.
- Child sexual abuse material, in any form, including hosting, distribution or linking. This results in immediate termination and referral to the authorities.
- Unauthorised access to any system, network scanning of third parties, credential stuffing, or distribution of malware, ransomware or exploit kits.
- Originating or participating in denial-of-service attacks, including operating booter or stresser services and acting as a reflection or amplification source.
- Phishing, spoofed pages designed to harvest credentials, and fraudulent impersonation of a person or organisation.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging by any channel, including email, SMS and WhatsApp. This covers messaging purchased lists and any activity that breaches the messaging platform's own terms.
- Distribution of copyright-infringing material where you do not hold the rights or a licence.
Restricted, and requiring prior written agreement
- Open proxies, open relays and open resolvers.
- Public Tor exit nodes.
- Bulk outbound email, including transactional volume above ordinary application levels.
- Scraping at a rate a reasonable operator of the target site would consider abusive, and any scraping that ignores robots directives or breaches the target's terms.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared virtual infrastructure.
Network conduct
Do not spoof source addresses. Do not announce IP space you do not control. Keep outbound traffic within the published transfer allowance for your plan. Secure any service that can be abused as an amplification vector, including DNS, NTP, memcached and SNMP.
Reporting abuse
Send reports to sales@awdhpl.com, with Abuse report in the subject line. Include the IP address, timestamps with the time zone, and log evidence. Reports are investigated in order of severity.
Enforcement
Depending on severity we may contact you for remediation, apply a network filter, suspend the service, or terminate it. Where an immediate risk exists to the platform, to other customers or to third parties, suspension may precede notification.
